Vladimir and Debbie Lukyanov
I came to the US to study business and to get rich, but God had other plans… My host family not only loved me enough to open their home to this atheist teenager from Russia, but they also found me a Bible in Russian, brought me to church every time the doors were open and prayed for me. When I accepted Christ, God called me to return to Russia to preach the Gospel and plant churches.
After graduating from a Bible college and completing our internship at our home church, my wife and I came to Siberia, where we’ve been serving for the last 15 years. Our passion is to assist other Russian pastors in starting a disciple-making movement, but this is not possible without first helping churches to be healthy. Out of 86 churches and small works in the Omsk region, most of them are either declining or have plateaued. That’s why I’m so burdened about the work of church revitalization.
Please, join us in prayer that God would renew Russian churches and equip them to multiply disciples, leaders, and ministries for His glory. - Vladimir Lukyanov
